Karen L. Cashioli

Karen Lynn (Spanovich) Cashioli, 68, of Lake Ridge, formerly of Steubenville, found the way to go home on Saturday, May 18, 2024. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Karen was born Feb. 17, 1956, in Steubenville, the daughter of Veronica (Sam) Sedoti and Merco Spanovich.

Karen was a dedicated nurse for the Fairfax County health department for 24 years. She was a hardworking healthcare professional, respected by her coworkers, known for her love to serve within her community.

Left to cherish memories of Karen are her children Christopher (Jennifer) Cashioli of Lake Ridge, VA; Michael Cashioli of Fairfax, VA; Megan Cashioli of Lake Ridge, VA, all who lovingly cared for Karen in the weeks prior to her passing. She is also survived by four grandchildren Lauren, Christopher J, Alexander Cashioli and Mia Cashioli; sisters Charlotte (Spanovich) Christian of Steubenville, Janie (Richard) Foust of Wintersville, Jeanie Spanovich of Toronto, Peggy (Spanovich) Grafton of Weirton, and Patty Spanovich of Steubenville; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville, Saturday, June 8th from 10 am until time of services at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
