Kevin Jedneski

Kevin Jedneski, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 11, 2024 in Steubenville.  

He was born on July 28, 1966, in Steubenville.  He is the son of the late Eugene Jedneski and Velma (Shultz) Jedneski Cilli.  

Kevin graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central High School in 1984.  He attended Heidelberg University where he played baseball. Kevin was a member of the 1984 American Legion Post 33 State Championship baseball team. He attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

He previously worked as a landscaper and then as a handyman.  Kevin was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a life-long Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He also was a die-hard Ohio State football and basketball fan. Kevin loved spending his free time fishing which he learned to love as a small boy with his Father.  

Kevin is survived by his sister Brenda (Steve) Anderson of Huntersville, NC, and his brother, David (Jed) (Gloria) Jedneski of Macon, GA; his nieces, Kristin (Sagun) Postlewait of Cornelius, NC, Lindsey (Sam) Glass of Juliette, GA, Lauren (George) Jackson of Macon, GA, and his nephew Jordan Jedneski of Atlanta, GA; and four great nieces and two great nephews.

Friends will be received at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Boulevard, Steubenville on Saturday, October 26, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
