Lauretta A. Bertoia

Lauretta A. Bertoia, 83 of Cincinnati, OH formerly of Steubenville, died Wednesday June 30, 2021 at The Lodge Retirement Community. She was born August 5, 1937 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late, Charles O. Benjamin and Barbara Birich Benjamin. Lauretta was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Bertoia, one brother Charles Benjamin and her sister, Barbara Ann Lande.

Lauretta graduated from Mount De Chantal Academy (Wheeling, WV) in 1955 and was a graduate of Edgecliff College (now Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH) in 1959. She was a devout member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church, a home maker, Interior designer/seamstress and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan attending five Superbowl’s. Lauretta was co-owner of the former Ohio Nut and Washer manufacturing plant which was sold in 1984.

Surviving are four sons Roger of Cincinnati, Charles (Joe) of Chicago, David (Annette) of Steubenville and Doug (Jeanne) of Cincinnati; five grandchildren Nicholas, David, Brittany (Fiancé John), Zachary and Kelli.

Calling hours are Tuesday 10 am to 12 noon at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 12:30 pm Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Nick Gianetti, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
