Lillian Scalise Obituary

Lillian R. Scalise, 95, of Wintersville died Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Carriage of Steubenville. She was born October 21, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA. She is the daughter of the late Nicholas and Agnes DiBiase Cefalo. Also preceding her in death are her husband Joseph Scalise; son Joseph Scalise; daughter Marlene Call; two sisters Mary Ribar and Dora Butera; two brothers Leonard and Joseph Cefalo.

Lillian was a homemaker and a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish. She was also a member of the Gadabouts, the Prime Time Senior Center and was an avid card player.

Surviving are one son Raymond Scalise of Wintersville; one daughter Linda Scalise of Latrobe, PA; one sister Eleanor Leish of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A funeral liturgy with Mass was held Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
