Lucila Heavilin Obituary

Lucila C. Heavilin, 82, of Steubenville, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at Trinity West Medical Center.

She battled Lewy Body Dementia for 7 years and passed peacefully surrounded by her son Frank and daughter-in-law Kaitlyn. She was born on September 21, 1939 in Santiago, Chile.

She achieved us citizenship through naturalization. She was the wife of Frank M. Heavilin, until his passing. She was a homemaker and mother. She was employed at Elby's restaurant until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, in Steubenville.

She enjoyed reading, knitting and crochet, cooking and baking, playing cards, walking her dog, along with spending time with her close friends. A private service is planned.

Family would like to thank all the medical staff at Trinity, both hospital staff and Home Health for their care of Lucila. She will be missed.
