Margaret M. Chapman

Margaret M. Chapman, 91, of Mingo Jct. died Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Valley Hospice. She was born July 25, 1933 in Mingo Jct., OH. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Margaret Hinckleman Wonders. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Chapman; siblings Sonny Wonders, William Wonders, and Bonnie Stovall.

Margaret was a homemaker, a member of the Funseekers and Holy Family Catholic Church.

Surviving are sons Robert (Sharon) Chapman Sr. of New Albany, OH and Jim (Cheryl) Chapman of Steubenville, OH; siblings Mary Edminson of Colonial Beach, VA, Harriet Wilson of King William, VA, Patricia Evertt of Indio, CA, Roy Wonders of Colonial Beach, VA, John (Theresa) Wonders of Oak Grove, VA, and Richard (Betty Ann) Wonders of Dahlgren, VA; grandchildren JR (Kristen) Chapman, Jonathan (Lisa) Chapman, Christopher (Bridget) Chapman, Robert (Meaghan) Chapman Jr. and Matthew Chapman; great grandchildren Jack, Genevieve, Eliza, Liam, Colin and Andrew.

Visitation will be held Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church from 10 am until time of Mass at 12 pm, Fr. Drake McAlister will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
