Marie R. DiPalma

Marie Rose DiPalma, 93, earned her heavenly wings on September 24, 2023. She was born in Steubenville on June 17, 1930 to Nicola and Fannie Romano Cacciacarro.

Marie was married for 31 years to Dominic DiPalma until his death in 1982. She retired from Jefferson County Health and Human Services. Marie was a long time parishioner of Holy Name Cathedral, member of Triumph of the Cross Parish, an RSVP volunteer and member of St. Francis Society.

She is survived by Susan Antol (David), Annette Boyne (Terrence) and Dominic DiPalma (Amy), eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sister Constance Moorhead, and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Carlo, twin brother Leonard Cacciacarro and nephew Patrick Moorhead.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29 from 4-7 pm at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 12 pm on Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
