Marilyn Teaff Obituary

Marilyn Betty Teaff, 90, of Steubenville died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at UPMC Passavant Hospital. She was born November 28, 1930 in Uniontown, OH. She is the daughter of the late Clayton and Marie Thompson Thrash. She is also preceded in death by her husband William Teaff one brother Jack Thrash.

Betty worked at Kaufman’s for 18 years and at Thriftown. She was a former member of Spring Hills Ladies Golf Club, the Town & Country Women’s Golf Association and the First Westminister Presbyterian Church. Betty also enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are one son Rick (Elizabeth) Teaff of Pittsburgh; one daughter Marilyn (Ralph) Crew of Wintersville; two brothers Clyde (Rosie) Thrash of Columbus and Roger “Butch” Thrash of Cleveland; two sisters Virginia Carothers of Canton and Martha (Ronnie) Holloway of Columbus; four grandchildren Eric (April) Crew, Kris Crew, Jessica (John) Robenalt and Melissa Teaff; two great grandchildren Jordan and Livia Crew.

Private services were held Monday and entombment was in Union Cemetery.
