Marsha Swinsinski Obituary

Marsha A. Swinsinski, passed away of natural causes on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Trinity West ER. Born on March 20, 1947, in Steubenville, Marsha's journey through life was marked by an unwavering commitment to her family, her faith, and the community that she cherished.

A proud graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School, class of 1965, Marsha carried the lessons of her youth throughout her life. Her faith was reflected in her active membership at St. Agnes Catholic Church, where she formed many lasting friendships.

Marsha's legacy is one of unconditional love and dedication, particularly to her beloved family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard W. Swinsinski, and their two sons, Richard (Tracie) Swinsinski of Steubenville and Andrew (Leslie) Swinsinski of Grove City, OH. Her memory will be cherished by her five grandchildren: Jacob, Jillian, Brady, Lucas, and Cody, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Andrew (Mary) Mihalyo of Steubenville, and her niece and nephews, Meghan, Drew, and Luke.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Mihalyo and Mary Tepavac Mihalyo, and her brother, Michael Mihalyo.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. There will be additional visitation on Thursday at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. James Dunfee will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
