Mary Capriotti Obituary

Mary S. Capriotti, PhD, 97, of Weirton, died Friday, January 23, 2026 at Brightwood Nursing Home. She was born July 28, 1928 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Adalgisa Silvidi Sferrella. She is also preceded in death by her husband John Capriotti.

Mary was a retired Professor where she taught at Franciscan University Education Department for many years.

Mary will be cremated with no services being held at this time.
