Mary Harms Obituary

Mary Frances “Fran” Harms, 91, of Steubenville died Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Gables Care Center. She was born December 26, 1931 in Huntington, WV. She is the daughter of the late O. Glenn and Anna Hundley Lockhart. She is also preceded in death by her husband Leo Harms.

Mary was a bookkeeper for Mountaineer Auto & RV Sales for many years.

Surviving are one son Michael (Christine) Harms of Loris, SC; two daughters Sharene Lawler of Gallatin, TN and Karen Palmer of Cadiz; son in law Al Lawler of Georgia; one sister Nancy (Fred) Antill of Steubenville; five grandchildren Michaela Palmer, Matthew Lawler, Aubrey, Joshua and Ethan Harms & six great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Gables Care Center for the wonderful care she received.

Per her request, private services were held by the family on Monday and entombment took place in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
