Mary D. Lynskey

Mary Dolores (McCauliff) Lynskey, 93, died at home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the Feast of All Souls.  She was born February 26,1928, in Brookside, Ohio.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor on April 6, 2016 and an infant grandson.

Mary is survived by her sons Mark (Sandy) of Westerville, Vic (Robin) of Wintersville, Neil (Amy) of Hopedale, and Patrick (Shanly) of Steubenville, and daughters Joan Clark (Brian) of Ostrander, Mary Jo Yanda (Larry) of Steubenville, and Anne McPherson (Bruce) of Hilliard, as well as 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Janet Sargent (Jim) of Fredricksburg, VA, and Nancy McCauliff (Gary Anderson) of Tennessee, and a sister-in-law, Betty Lynskey of Florida.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers Charlotte Hauber, Joanne Pestian, and Nancy Szczerbinski. We are touched by the exquisite care provided by Dawn Alvis of Stonerise Hospice, who helped us see our Mother home.

A Vigil Service will be offered by Fr. Timothy Huffman at 2 PM Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Mosti Funeral Home. Visitation will follow from 2 PM to 6 PM, with an LAOH prayer service at 5:45 PM.

A Closing Prayer will be offered at 6 PM.

The Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 9:45 AM, Monday, November 8, 2021.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Timothy Huffman at St. Peter Church at 11 AM.

Internment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
