MaryLou Smith

MaryLou Smith, 74, of Steubenville, died Thursday  May 28, 2026 at Sienna Nursing Home. She was born June 7, 1951  in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Peters McCullough, MaryLou is also preceded in death by her son, Raymond Weimer.

Surviving are her husband Ron Smith whom she married November 16, 2017. Four daughters, Tina (Jared) Reinhardt of Raleigh, NC, Cindy (Eric) Heiger of Belvedere, OH, Tonia (Shane) Rehmel of Bloomington, IN, and AmyBeth Zorrilla-Gallardo of Mesa, AZ. One sister, Annette Lawrence of Wheeling, WV, One step brother, David (Connie) Anderson of Toronto, Two step sisters, Linda Bowden and Tina (Jerry) Haynes both of Toronto. 12 grandchildren and  8 great grandchildren.

MaryLou was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, she was an avid reader, had spent countless years studying her family’s genealogical history.

MaryLou was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Wintersville, OH. Her happiest days were spent with her family and 2 cats who were so very dear to her heart.

Services will be private at the convenience of the famly.
