Mary Margaret Shoup Obituary

Mary Margaret Shoup, 89, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Steubenville, died Thursday, January 31, 2020 in Florida. She was born September 7, 1930 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Hayden Moffitt. Also preceding her in death is her husband Howard Shoup.

Mary Margaret was an office assistant at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 35 years.

Surviving are her cousins Eleanor Weiss, Susan Mulgrew, David Weiss, William Weiss and Douglas Weiss; close friends Angie McCallister and Pam Dillon both of Sarasota, FL.

Calling hours are Thursday 4-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 am Friday at St. Peters Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
