Masako Kubina

Masako Kubina, 91, of Steubenville died Friday, August 30, 2024 at her home. She was born January 3, 1933 in Tokyo, Japan. She is the daughter of the late Uhie and Kiyo Iwanaga Hakuno. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Kubina.

She worked at Creegan’s as costume designer and at Sears as a seamstress for many years.

Surviving are two sons Thomas Kubina of Steubenville and Michael Kubina of California; one daughter Patricia Zeto of Calabasas, CA; three brothers Masao, Mitsuru and Katsuhiko all of Japan; four grandchildren  Nick, Sydney and Logan Zeto and Brandon Kubina.

The family would like to thank Valley Hospice, The Harlan and Powell Families, Tiffany Walker and Denise Moores for their great care for Masako.

Masako will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
