Michael E. Kuczynski

Michael E. Kuczynski, 69, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Union Hospital in Dover. He was born March 14, 1951 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Michael and Isabel Yanch Kuczynski. Also preceding him in death is one brother Ted “Mitch” Mieczkowski.  

Michael was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a Millwright for many years and then later at Giant Eagle in Dover. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25-year club. Michael was an avid fan of Notre Dame, the Steelers and high school football. He made friends everywhere he went and truly loved his family. Michael was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his wife Carol Winland Kuczynski, whom he married March 11, 1972; son Craig (Sheila) Kuczynski of Steubenville; two daughters Michelle (Craig) Pugh of New Philadelphia; Jennifer (Doug) Grim of Dalton; beloved grandchildren Kaleel, Micah, David, Caleb, Simon, Nathan, Nolan and Henry; two great grandchildren Bryiar and Calliope; one brother James (Debbie) Kuczynski and many cherished nieces, nephews, family and friends.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 pm until time of services at 6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville and will be officiated by Minister Tom McFadden.
