Michael W. Rabbit

Michael W. Rabbit, 74, of Wintersville died Monday, June 10, 2024 at Valley Hospice. He was born August 28, 1950 in Wheeling, WV. He is the son of the late Louis and Bertha Richmond Rabbit. He is also preceded in death by one brother Louis Rabbit Jr.

Michael was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as an inspector for many years. Michael proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Combat Veterans Support Group of Steubenville.

Surviving are his wife Barbara DeWitt Rabbit, whom he married December 31, 1971; son Michael Rabbit II of Mingo Jct.; brother Donald (Pilar) L. Rabbit of Washington DC and fur baby China.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 pm until time of services at 4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Jack Ernest will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
