Nancy C. Arthurs

Nancy C. Arthurs, 86, of Wintersville died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Valley Hospice. She was born on November 4, 1935 in Henshaw, KY. She is the daughter of the late W.H. Young and Katherine Louie. She is also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Arthurs whom she married on February 9, 1957; sisters Lib Sweeney & Evadon “Tickey" Long; and brothers Charlie Young & John Louie. 

Nancy was a graduate of Catholic Central High School Class of 1954. She was an avid sports fan, always cheering for Catholic Central High School, University of Notre Dame, and University of Michigan. 

Nancy was retired from Franciscan University food service department. She was a member of the former St. Pius X Parish and Triumph of the Cross as well as a former member of the Catholic Women’s Club and Catholic Central Band Boosters. She also volunteered most of her life for various organizations.

Surviving are her three daughters, Kathleen (Tom) Coldebella of Mingo Jct., Kristine (George) Zrinyi of Commerce, MI, & Lori (Ron) Milot of Crescent, PA; five grandchildren, TJ (Kendra) Coldebella, Zachary (Amanda) Coldebella, Carolyn Marie (Gary) Peterson, Fernando (Kristena) Zrinyi, Carly Zrinyi, & Jessica (Rob) Hathaway; four great-grandchildren, Jude, Jace, Harper, & Colton; siblings, Patty Hancock, Brenda King, Jim (Trish) Young all of Morganfield, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday 3-6 pm at Mosti Funeral Home Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at St. Agnes Church Mingo Jct. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
