Olga Pizzoferrato Obituary

Olga Linda (Santilli) Pizzoferrato, 85, of Steubenville, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 23,2022 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. Olga was born on June 21,1937 in Pratola, Peligna, Italy. Daughter of the late Donato & Ida (Santangelo) Santilli. She immigrated to the United States on the Andrea Doria after her marriage to Attilio V. Pizzoferrato on March 5,1955. She is preceded in death by her husband Attilio, daughter Ida and sister Dora DiLoreto.

Olga was a member of the former St. Anthony & Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Francis Society of Holy Family & CWC. Former Seamstress at Carlisle’s & J.C. Penney Retail Stores.

Olga will always be remembered for her Amazing Italian cooking & baking, and it brought her much joy to spend time with family & friends. No one ever left her home hungry and everyone loved her sweet disposition! She loved to crochet & make blankets and scarfs for family & friends. Loved her kitty cats and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers with her Terrible Towel.  

Olga is survived by her loving children; Rosella (Tim) Meronoff, Adriana Flener, & Anita Pizzoferrato (whom she resided with).

Devoted Grandmother to Joe & Dan (Tiffany) Meronoff, Christa Bray (Mike), Joshua Flener & Jessica Flener, Fiance (Caleb Gammon).

Adored her great grandchildren: Isabel, Abigail, Gabrielle, Rileigh, Benny, Ani, Kaylee, Lexi & Dax.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church & Jefferson County Humane Society.
