Patricia M. Jordan

Patricia Marie Jordan, née Wirtz, aged 62, was born in Youngstown, Ohio to William Wirtz and Anne Wirtz née Maher. Patricia donned cardinal wings and flew to heaven in the early hours of Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. She is survived by her children: her eldest child Richard Montague Zuckett III, partnered to Zoe Burkey; her daughter Rachel Patricia Zuckett; her son-in-law Shawn Hall; and her son Robert Patrick Zuckett. She also has two lovely grandchildren, Sarah and Julie Hall. Finally, she is survived by a substantial number of loving brothers and sisters. Listed in order of birth, her siblings are Kathy, Bill, Chuck, Rosie, Robert, Barbara, Joanne, Judy, Christine, James, Mary, Jerome, Phillip, and Timothy Wirtz. She spent over thirty years as a nail technician, working with fellow technicians and beauticians at A Nail’s Charm salon. It is here that she composed much of her life, forming lifelong bonds with colleagues and clients, many of whom came to know Patricia as one of the kindest and most accepting souls to cross their paths. Many of you will remember Patricia as the woman who held your hand while stories and secrets poured forth, as her ability to listen, to understand, and to provide comfort surpassed all others around her.

Patricia Marie Jordan was a gracious and loving mother. All her life, she dreamed of the life she would have surrounded by many children and grandchildren, and she often regaled us with stories of how she would play with dolls and dollhouses as a child, fantasizing about the day she would finally get to raise her own children. Much like with everyone else, Patricia’s ear was always bent to her kids, coaxing out of them their wildest dreams, their stories cascading with fantasy and intrigue, their secrets, their woes, their fears, and finally, after all other words could finally be exhausted, they would finish with their love for her. Patricia was an unending reservoir of love and understanding. Heaven is a fuller, more blessed place to have her there. We will miss her deeply, but we know she is already sharing stories and hearing new stories with her parents, and many of her friends and loved ones who left us before her.

The memorial service will be held at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952. Memorial visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and will run until 3:00 PM. During the memorial, there will be a reading performed by Richard Montague Zuckett for the Eulogy of Patricia Jordan, followed by a Prayer Service performed by Patricia’s brother, Robert Wirtz.
