Patsy J. Forte, Jr.

Patsy J. Forte, Jr., 70 , of Wintersville died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Trinity West after a lengthy battle with heart disease.

He was born May 9, 1951 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Pasqualle and Hilda DeLfrieght Forte. He is also preceded in death by one brother Samuel Forte.

Patsy was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Polish Athletic Club and Spring Hills Golf Club. Patsy was an avid golfer and once had a hole in one at Cadiz Country Club on November 23, 2003 on Hole #13. He also was fortunate enough to win multiple golf tournaments throughout his life.

He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1969 where he played football. He went on to receive a football scholarship to The University of Tampa and finished his playing career at West Liberty State College. Patsy later helped coach the Steubenville Catholic Central Crusaders at the Junior High and varsity levels.  

Surviving are his wife Vicki Susich Forte, whom he married December 31, 1998; one step son Christopher Cybulski of Boardman, OH and Matthew (Carolyn)  Cybulski of Dublin, OH; two grandchildren Walter Henry and Eleanor Marie Cybulski.

All services were held privately by the family.

As a final gift, Patsy left behind tissue donation to Lifeline of Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Steubenville High School Football Boosters and the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
