Paul F. Hornung

Paul F. Hornung, of Steubenville, was born on June 14, 1935 and died at the age of 89 on January 9, 2025 at Valley Hospice.  He was the son of the late Paul and Mary Pfister Hornung. He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and John Hornung and sister, Rose Mary Hanson.

Paul was a 1954 graduate of Catholic Central High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He retired from Weirton Steel Mill where he worked for many years.  He was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish. Paul was a talented and skilled artist, belonging to The Steubenville Art Association in which he won first place merit awards and honors.

Surviving are three sisters Jean Reinman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Janet (Neil) Dvorak of Denver, Colorado and Carol Stephani of Glendale, Arizona.

Paul will be cremated and he will be buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
