Paul “Bill” William Mosblack, 87, of Steubenville died Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Trinity West. He was born April 19, 1937 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late John and Mary Haney Mosblack. Bill is also preceded in death by his brother John Mosblack; sisters Mary Walker and Catherine Mosblack.
Bill was retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio where he was a serviceman for 42 years. He was a member of Jefferson County Sportsman Club and the Polish Athletic Club. Bill was an avid hunter and loved to watch his Pittsburgh Steelers. Bill was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1955.
Surviving are his wife Theresa Albarano Mosblack, whom he married January 24, 1959; three daughters Linda (John) Groch, Carolyn Grant and Paula (Rob) Carpenter; grandchildren Nicole Porco Fisher, Kaitlyn Carpenter and Robert (Emily Williamson) Carpenter.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
