Raymond H. Pleise

Raymond Henry Pleise, 70, of Steubenville, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026 from a brief illness at Dixon Nursing Home in Wintersville. He was born August 14, 1955 in Steubenville. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Edna Pleise.
Raymond was a roofer by trade and a handyman. His happy places were being in the woods hunting deer and on the lakes catching bass.
Surviving are his children: eldest son Raymond (Tasha) Freund, eldest daughter Dusty Freund, daughter Kerry Pleise, and son Christopher Pleise. In addition to his children his is survived by his brother Edward Pleise and sisters Susie (Mike) Mousadis and Donna Weinert. He had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
