Rita M. Gyarmaty

Rita M. Gyarmaty, 85, of Steubenville died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Valley Hospice. She was born December 28, 1932 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen Mieczkowski Moziejko. She is also preceded in death by her husband Carl Gyarmaty; two brothers Richard and Casmir Moziejko and one sister Rose Mary Giles.

Rita is a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1950.

Surviving are two sons Tim Gyarmaty of Steubenville and Carl Gyarmaty of Fort Myers, FL; two sisters Dorothy (Bob) Reeves and Donna Kramer both of Steubenville.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9 am until 11:30 am at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at Noon at Holy Rosary Church, Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
