Ronald E. Crites

Ronald E. Crites, 83, of Steubenville died Friday, June 12, 2026 at his home. He was born December 12, 1942 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Roy and Marie Smith Crites. Also preceding him in death are son Allen Crites; brothers Richard and Jack Crites; sister Marlene Martello.

Ronald retired from Timet where he worked as a supervisor in the maintenance department for 40 years. He loved to golf, fish, watch western TV shows, play card games and was an avid lover of sweets. He received the key to the city of Toronto in 2001.  Ronald was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1962.

Surviving are his wife Judy Livingston Crites, whom he married February 24, 1963; daughter Christine Ensell of East Liverpool; brother Robert Crites of Wintersville; sister Linda (David) Ziarko of Toronto; two grandchildren Jenee Ensell (Partner Justin Irvin) & Jessica Ensell and one great granddaughter Marlene Kanatues.

Ronald will be cremated with no services being held at this time.
