Ruth Snyder

Ruth Snyder, 81, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center. Born on June 7, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA, Ruth dedicated her life to caring for others, both through her work and in her personal life.

Ruth was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of many during her 39-year tenure as an administrative manager at Martha Manor. Her warmth and friendliness knew no bounds, and she was deeply respected and cherished by her colleagues and the community.

Though predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Mary Kriceri; her husband, Andrew Snyder; her brothers, Andrew and John Kriceri; and her sister, Irene, Ruth's legacy lives on through her beloved son Michael (Diana) of Green, OH, daughter Andrea (Adam) Hickok of Steubenville, cherished grandchildren Anthony and Karlee, and her adored granddog, Lily Lou.

Ruth's life was a testament to her loving nature, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire kindness in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday at the church from 10 am until time of Mass at 12 pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
