Sam A. Pettinella

Samuel “Sam” A. Pettinella, 71, of Steubenville died Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his home. He was born July 24, 1952 in Steubenville to the late Joseph “Josie” and Mary Pekera Pettinella.

Sam worked at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and later moved on to Las Vegas and worked as a dealer. He also owned and operated his own ice cream business for many years. Sam was also a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1971. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Surviving are two sisters Josette (Frank) Potenzini and Sandra (Everett) Bragg both of Steubenville. Also several nieces and nephews.

Private services were held for the family and burial took place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
