Obituary
Sandra “Sandee” Scurti 74 of Steubenville died Saturday June 18, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center with her husband by her side. She was born November 9, 1947 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Mamet and Jennie Spanovich Kazmaskis. Sandee also leaves behind her brother in law, Anthony Scurti, cousins Darlene Simmons and Marlene Hood, who were like sisters growing up and her best friend since childhood, Mary Easterling.
Sandee married her husband and love of her life Robert Scurti on 7/1/91. Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Rob (Mary) Scurti, 2 daughters, Becky Cassella and Annie Wade both of Weirton. Grandchildren, Zachary and Ian Hurst, Elijah and Dylan Cassella, and Jaxson and Logan Scurti
All through out a long illness, Sandee loved and praised her Lord and read HIS Word daily, while praying for everyone on her ever expanding prayer list that she kept in her Bible.
Sandee was the sweetest person with a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Special thanks to all the nurses and aides who took great care of her at Weirton Medical Center and Valley Hospice.
There will be no visitation by Sandee’s request. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
