Stella Finnigan
Obituary
Stella Finnigan, 92, of Mingo Jct., died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Valley Hospice. She was born January 25, 1931 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Diamond. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jack; brother Dan Diamond; grandson Rick Ohle; two daughters Jacqueline Finnigan and Sherry Ohle.
Stella worked at Denmark’s in the shoe department and was previously the manager of Teek’s Shoes. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopalian Church and the Women’s Club of Mingo Jct. Stella loved her family, cooking, friends, birds and her church family.
Surviving are one daughter Diane Green of Steubenville; two grandchildren Jacqueline Kelly Green and Michael (Amanda) Ohle; two great grandchildren Damien and Jason Ohle; nephews Dan (Heather) and Tom (Sophie) Diamond.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 12 pm until time of services at 2 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Fr. Steven McKeown will officiate.
