Steve Pahides

Steve Pahides, 74, of Mingo Jct., died Friday, July 12, 2019 at Trinity West ER.
He was born September 20, 1944 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Pete and Mabel Zanos Pahides. Steve is also preceded in death by three brothers, Myron and John Palios, and Stamatie Pahides; and a step-son, Joe Pizzoferrato.
Surviving are his son, James Pahides of Mingo Jct.; brother, Nick (Cassie) Pahides of Steubenville; long time companion, Rosa Stone, and her son, Billy Tompkins; two step- daughters, Rebecca DeVore and Laura Johnston; step-grandson, Josh; and step-great-granddaughter, Katarina.
Steve was a retired life insurance agent and was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Steve was a member of AHEPA and was a board member at Holy Trinity, and an active member of the Steubenville Lions Club.
Calling hours are Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., and on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 300 S. Fourth St. Steubenville. There will be a Lions Club service at 6:45 p.m. and a Trisagion service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
