Steven R. Philpot

Steven R. Philpot, 57, of Bloomingdale died Thursday, August 29, 2024 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1967 in Birmingham, AL. He is the son of Edward Philpot and the late Wanna Hobson Philpot.

Steven was a landscape designer and was the owner and operator of Southern Outdoor Design in Atlanta, GA. He was very involved in the Masonic Lodge where he belonged to the Steubenville Lodge 45 and also was a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of the Valley of Steubenville.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife Lori Nelson Philpot, whom he married December 28, 2005; two brothers Edward (Laura) Philpot and Bradley Philpot both of GA; two nieces Meghan, Amanda and one nephew Matthew.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday from 12 pm until time of services at 2:30 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will take place at a later date. Masonic services will start at 1:30 pm.
