Susan D. McConnell

Susan D. McConnell, 68, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at her home in Richmond. Born on October 27, 1955, in Steubenville, Susan's life was a testament to the power of friendliness and warmth in creating a welcoming home and community.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband, David McConnell; her loving children, Christopher McConnell and Amy Stackhouse both of Richmond; her cherished granddaughter, Audrianna Nichole McConnell; brother, William "Billy" Koch of Dennison; sister, Kathy (Mike) Exterovich of Steubenville. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Burgess Koch.

Susan dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, setting an example of unconditional love and creating a legacy of joyful memories. Her gentle spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 3 pm until time of services of 4:30 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Pastor David Shores will officiate and burial will be held at a later date.
