Thomas L. Maxwell

Thomas L. Maxwell, 82, of Steubenville passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at home. He was born January 30, 1941 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Harry Maxwell and Sally Zulewski Maxwell Suchy. Thomas is also preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Judith Maxwell and sister Barbara Diomedi.

Thomas was employed with Wheeling Pittsburg Steel until his retirement in 2003. He was Protestant by faith and was an active member of the Four Seasons Club. Thomas also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Surviving are two daughters Krista Maxwell-Buck of Clarksburg, WV and Shannon (Thomas) Kerr of Wintersville; one sister June Marzec of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; three grandchildren Shanleigh (Andy) Amadei, Kelser Buck, Tanner Kerr and one great granddaughter Judith Amadei.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am until time of services at 11:30 am at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
