Troy Boggs

Troy Boggs, 47, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on January 19, 1978, in Columbus, Ohio. Troy grew up knowing exactly what he wanted from life. Even as a young boy he dreamed of spending his life outdoors. With his deep connection to nature, he turned those dreams into reality by becoming an accomplished

entrepreneur, running his own landscaping company for over 20 years.

Troy is preceded in death by his father William Boggs and his brother Marc Boggs. He is survived by his mother Marcella (Harris) Boggs; fiancé Carol Benedetto; his aunt Kathy Kokoruda; his cousin Amy (Pete) Kowalski and many friends and family. Also surviving Troy are his faithful dogs Gris, Marshall and Ripley.

Troy’s favorite activities were hunting, fishing and baseball. Baseball was his passion and played throughout high school and college.

There will be no funeral services. A private burial will be at Kingwood Memorial Park, Columbus, OH. Mosti Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the Boggs family.
