Virginia Lacko Obituary

Virginia T. Lacko, 79, passed away in her sleep, Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at her home. She was born Dec. 4,1943 in Steubenville. She is a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Florence Gaylord. Virginia is preceded in death by her former husband Ernie Lacko, grandson Brandon Penner and granddaughter Savanah Nagy.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. She will be mostly remembered for her generous heart and her love for her children and loyalty to her dearest friends.

She is survived by brothers Tom Gaylord, Robert (Joyce) Gaylord and sister Patricia Priscilla. Children Micheal Penner and his partner Debbie, Richard (Angie) Penner, Sherry (Mark) Vergis, Samuel (Caprice) Penner and Ernest Lacko and partner Jessica. Grandchildren Micheal, Brittany, Christian, Cameron, Madison, Bailey and Carley Jo along with several great grandchildren. Nephew Ron Gaylord and many others. She will be missed more than she would have known, until we see you again, Love You Mom.

Services will be private as Virginia had requested.
