William J. Cooper

William J. Cooper, 74, of Irondale died Monday, November 4, 2024 at his home. He was born July 4, 1950 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Pete and Martha Trudics Cooper. He is also preceded in death by one brother Robert Leonard.

William was retired from Wheeling Pitt Steel where he worked for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing and trapping.

He is survived by son Brian Cooper of Irondale; four brothers Paul Cooper of Wintersville, Donald Cooper of Toronto, Thomas Cooper of Alliance, OH and Andy Leonard of Thomasboro, IL; three sisters Martha Leonard of Steubenville, Kathy (John) Penrod of Alliance, OH and Betty (Neil) Cich of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren Jayna Cooper and Josie Barker.

William will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
