William E. "Bill" DeLaney

Bill Edward Delaney, 82, of Steubenville died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Trinity West ER. He was born June 14, 1938 in Morris Run, WV. He is the son of the late Harold and Edith (Magers) Delaney. He is also preceded in death by brothers Robert Delaney, Norman Delaney and sister Betty Gault.

Bill was a retired security guard. He loved fishing, hunting and everything outdoors.

Surviving are his wife Linda (Hopkins) Delaney, whom he married July 30, 1979; four sons; John, William, Earl and Timmy Delaney; three daughters Marie Delaney, Keely (Richard) Sickles and Kasey (Richard) Collier; two brothers Gary (Patty) Delaney and Donnie Delaney. Bill also leaves behind two beloved grandsons, Alexander and Carter.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 am until time of services at Noon at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Pastor Larry Klinker will officiate. Burial will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
