William J. DiLeonardo

William J. DiLeonardo Sr., 80, of Wintersville died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home. He was born December 16, 1941 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Cardino and Mary Paris DiLeonardo. He is also preceded in death by three brothers Edward, Romeo and Thomas DiLeonardo.

William was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked in the 80 inch for 40 years. He was also a member of Jefferson County Sportsman Association and the Polish Athletic Club. William enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are one son William Jr. (Colette) of Pittsburgh; one daughter Christina (Jim) Rowan - DiLeonardo of Tarpon Springs, FL; his former wife of 36 years Marilyn (McCarthy) DiLeonardo; one sister Rita Giovannone of Steubenville; six grandchildren Krista & Hannah Ondos, Cardino & James Jr. Rowan and Sophia & Isabella DiLeonardo. Also surviving are his partner, Moria Dixon and her son Thomas (Katherine) Dixon all of Canada. 

Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 pm until time of services at 5 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.
