William "Bill" DellaPenna, Jr.

William “Bill” DellaPenna, Jr., 69, of Mingo Jct., died Monday, January 10, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born January 23, 1952 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late William and Helen Diomedi DellaPenna. He is also preceded in death by one brother Michael.

Bill was retired from ArcelorMittal where he worked in the Tin Mill as a fork truck operator for many years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Bill was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4361 in Mingo Jct., where he served as past Grand Knight from 1985-1987. He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1970.

Surviving are his wife Karen Knicely DellapPenna, whom he married May 11, 1973; one brother James (Colleen) DellaPenna of New Alexandria; three sisters Gail Dellapenna of Steubenville, Annette (Neal) Felder of Los Angeles, CA and Susan DellaPenna of Beverly Hills, CA; 5 sister-in-laws and 5 brother-in-laws; 14 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Visitation will also be held Tuesday from 9 am until time of Mass at 10 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Fr. James Dunfee will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  

The family has requested for masks to be worn at the funeral home.
