Michael A. Suarez

Michael A. Suarez, 61, of Steubenville died Monday, October 11, 2021 at Trinity West. He was born September 5, 1960 in Chicago, IL. He is the son of the late Michael and Norma Toro Suarez. 

Michael attended Loyala University Chicago with a degree in biology. He worked at Rush University Medical Center (Rush Presbyterian-St.Luke Medical Center) for five years as a respiratory technician before entering The Ohio State University Medical School and earning his MD.  Michael did  residency in Family Practice at Coral Springs, FL through The University of Florida. He practiced family medicine in Florida, Ohio, and Georgia. 

Michael was an Ohio State and Chicago Bears fan, loved flying radio controlled air planes, and was also a participant and fan of the martial arts.

Surviving are his wife Sheri Temple Suarez, whom he married September 14, 1996; three sons Justin, Christian and Nolan; one daughter Erika; one brother Guy Reyes; four sisters Irma Ruiz, Michelle, Mary and Kim Suarez; three nephews and five nieces. 

Private services were held and burial took place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
