Delbert J. Rish, Jr.

Delbert J. Rish Jr., 69, of Wintersville, died Tuesday June 28, 2016 at home. He was born November 4, 1946 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Delbert J. Rish Sr. and Josephine Costantini Rish. Delbert is also preceded in death by his daughter Sheri Rodgers.

Delbert was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; he was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he was a crane operator, and a graduate from Steubenville High School class of 1965.

Surviving are his wife, Jessie Piccirillo Rish, whom he married July 22, 1968, one son, John (Wife Isis) Rish of Powell, OH, and two grandchildren, Samantha and Skylar Rodgers.

Delbert was a member of the Train Collectors Association and was an avid fisherman and loved gardening.

Calling hours are Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Mosti Funeral Home Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.  A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 am Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Msgr. Kurt Kemo, Celebrant. Entombment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
