Anthony "Jeep" Cafero

Anthony J. "Jeep" Cafero, Jr. 81 of Wintersville died Thursday September 15,2016 at Life Line Hospital. He was born April 30, 1935 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Anthony J. Cafero, Sr. and Mary Stuber Cafero. Also preceding Jeep  in death arew his wife, Maragret O'Malley Cafero, one brother Joseph Cafero, three sisters, Rosemary Habowski, Marg Divittorio, and Delores Green.

Jeep was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, was retired from Weirton Steel and was a former Steubenville city councilman.

Surviving are three sons, Christopher of Wintersville, Anthony (Carla) of Las Vegas, and John (Renee) of Henderson.

One daughter, Delores (Dan) Mosti of Toronto.

Nine grandchildren, Ashley, Kristen, Kayla, Jenna, Michael, Gregory, Dina, Joey, and Spencer, 8 great grandchildren.

Calling hours are Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. A vigil service will be held Monday at 6 pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
