Gerri worked in my father's medical office for many years. Her sweet and kind disposition endeared her to his patients and to our family as well. I shared many of Gerri's lunch hours at the Hub tea room. She was a delight to be with and I have precious memories of those times with Gerri. My sympathy to the Giannamore family on your loss. Sorry I am not in town to attend her calling hours and funeral service. My caring thoughts are with you.

Great Aunt Gerri will be missed very much. I remember as a kid how part of my visits to Steubenville with my Mom always included a visit to Aunt Gerri's house. She would always have a lunch prepared for us when we arrived, and the view of Downtown Steubenville & West Virginia from her kitchen window & back porch always stand out in my mind. I still have one of the afghan quilts that she knitted for me & use it frequently to keep warm in my apartment. Every time I use it I think of her & the wonderful memories of our visits to her house. I love & miss you very much Aunt Gerri!!!

I will cherish so many precious memories with my dear Aunt Gerri. She was so much fun, and she could always make me laugh. And, she had the most beautiful smile! I loved her so much. She was such a big part of our lives, while growing-up. I loved to hear her sing around the house. My sons all have an afaghan that she knitted for them as babies, and they continued to use them as the got older—always the most comforting blanket of their choice. Her labors of love will always be cherished. In loving memory of you Aunt Gerri...Always, Alisa Rose ("Lee Lee")
