I am saddened by you passing Dr. Korzi. I graduated in 1977. You have inspired me throughout my career. I will always remember your dry sense of humor, you dedication and support of your students, and how you built the Psychology department into one that challenged us and motivated us to be the best. May blessings descend on family and friends who mourn. May you enjoy eternal rest. Thank you Dr. Korzi. I am a better person for having known you.

My deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Professor Korzi. I enjoyed more than one class with him while earning my Bachelor in Mental Health and Human Services at University of Steubenville. I share his passion for the field of Christian Counseling, Social Work and Psychiatry. I am still working as an LISW and went on to receive my Master's Degree in Social Work. I loved every minute of the educational learning experience! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! God be with you. Peace be with you. You were a good and faithful servant!

Mr. Korzi was my beloved professor when I was an undergraduate psychology major at Steubenville, 1964-68. I also had the privilege of being his secretary at the college during those years. I remember Mr. Korzi for his dedication, scholarly approach to teaching, his thoughtfulness and precision. I have thought of him often over the years and hope that the loved ones he leaves behind will receive the same caring and support that they have so graciously given to others.

Your father was one of the best professors I ever had at Franciscan University. Truly he was a class act and certainly cared a great deal about his students. May God's peace be with you in this difficult time.

My first years teaching at Franciscan University were John's last, and I always enjoyed chatting with him in the corridors or at Kroger's. He's been missed in Steubenville since his retirement and move to Chicago. To his family, I'm very sorry for your loss. Kevin Miller

Karen,
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I still think of him and of your family when I pass the mimosa tree in the yard of your former house. He was my psychology professor for a couple of courses at Steubie U. and I enjoyed them very much. Sending prayers out to you.
