Rebecca "Becky" Whiteside

Rebecca M. "Becky" Whiteside, 59, of Wintersville died Saturday November 19, 2016 at Trinity West. She was born March 8, 1957 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Charles "Fred" and Pauline Babicz Franklin. Becky was the owner and operator of Whiteside Bookkeeping and Accounting. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1975 and a graduate of Franciscan University. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a member of its CWC. Surviving are her husband Regis J. Whiteside, whom she married September 15, 1979; two sons Regis C. of Toledo and Matthew J. of Raleigh, NC; one daughter Emily (Lance) Lightfritz of Wintersville; three brothers Charles (Marie) Franklin of New Cumberland, Randy (Linda) Franklin of Wintersville and David (Christine) Franklin of Steubenville; one sister Carla (Tony) Cafero of Las Vegas and one grandchild Lance Lightfritz "LJ", Jr., and also several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10 am, Msgr. Kurt Kemo will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
