My Uncle Zip was a good man. I remember when I was a kid he always used to tell me if anyone ever gave me trouble you tell your Uncle Zip!! His sister Pam was my grandmother but she treated me like her son. Even though them two weren’t that close I still loved my uncle and I miss him. I pray them two reconnect in heaven and forgive each other for not being close in life. I love you Uncle Zip, I’ll never forget you….

Throughout our lives, we meet people who are "influencers." We might not know them extremely well or for a very long period of time, but they shape us in ways that we don't even realize until much later in life. Coach Zip was one of those people for me. There is no doubt that I am the man I am today because of his kindness, patience, guidance and understanding. Some of the fondest memories of my youth include him. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time.

Dear Beth , Jim and family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for your dad's Passing. What wonderful people your parents weee Beth. I enjoyed seeing them when they came to Texas to visit and hearing about their travels.
I know they loved their family, their church and their Steelers!
May God comfort you and all your family at this time.
Jesus said " I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the father except through me "
You will see them again someday. RIP
In sympathy

I am sorry to learn of Zip's passing. I remember him from his coaching days in Little league over 50 years ago when we first met..he was very competitive and enjoyed coaching. He always had a smile on his face. Zip was an avid Crusader fan, he enjoyed his life and his family. May he rest in peace as he rejoins your mother above. My prayers to the family, may you find comfort from the wonderful memories he left you with. God Bless you all, Billy McKean

I was very saddened to hear of Richard's passing. I assisted him and Frances in their health insurance plans each fall. He was always very friendly and welcoming to me. He will be greatly missed, but I'm glad that he is not suffering and is now with Frances again.
