Rita P. Peters

Rita P. Peters, 85, of Steubenville died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Trinity West. She was born September 8, 1931 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late John and Pauline Porreca. Also preceding her in death are her husband Angelo Peters, Jr. and two half sisters Margaret and Josephine.

Rita was a homemaker and a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish.

Surviving are two sons John Peters of Steubenville and Greg (Julie) Peters of Dublin, OH; one daughter Michelle (Michael) Martello of Steubenville; two grandchildren, Adam and Matthew Martello.

Calling hours will be Friday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Ryan Grey, celebrant.  Burial will take place at later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Friday at 6:45 pm.
