William "Bill" J. Boyuk, 66, of Steubenville, died Friday, January 20, 2017, at his home.
He was born January 1, 1950 in Weirton. He is the son of the late Walter and Helen Nemeth Boyuk.
Bill was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a Millwright in the Strip Steel Dept.
Bill was a former member of the Jefferson County Sportsman Club, the 25 year Weirton Steel Club and was Presbyterian by Faith.
Surviving are his wife Janet Kalisz Boyuk, whom he married February 2, 1970; one son Brian (Katie Schmitz) of Savannah, GA; Melissa Boyuk of Steubenville; one brother Gary Boyuk of Weirton; two sisters Mary Kay (Roger) Wright of Auburn, NY, Nancy (Bernie) Snodgrass of Follansbee and his granddaughter Jocelyn Boyuk.
Bill will be sadly missed by best friends Pat and Bob Richardson, Fran Sheets, sister in law Kathy Savinell and brother in law Joe (Denise) Kalisz.
Bill was also an avid deer hunter, wood worker and in his later years studied gemology.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral service will be Tuesday 10 am at the funeral home, Pastor Jason Elliott will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
