Betty L. Nocera

Betty L. Nocera, 86, of Steubenville, died Sunday May 8, 2016, surrounded by her family at her home.
She was born May 7, 1930, in Youngstown, OH. She is the daughter of the late Earl and Icel Breaden Hoover. 
Also preceding her in death are her husband, Joseph; brothers, Roy, Denzil, Francis and Arthur Hoover; sisters, Shirley Reed, Geraldine LaBanics and Icel Wimpkey. 
Betty was a member of the former St. Anthony Catholic Church, a former Big Red Band Booster and Parent and was a Little League Team Mother. 
Surviving are one son, Joseph P. (Linda) Nocera of Steubenville; one daughter, Sandra Nocera of Steubenville; six grandchildren Joe, Rich, Amber, Nicholas, Courtney and Zachary; seven great grandchildren Zoe, Carmen, Rocco, Benjamin, Alfonso Joseph "AJ", Liam,Connor and her grand dog Bailey.  
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 3 p.m. until time of services at 5:30 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Fr. Michael Gossett will officiate.  Private Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
